* So that all of us who today celebrate the eucharist together know how to present you to others and speak of you in a natural and simple way,

CHANGE US TO BE LIKE YOU, Father

* So that the way in which we love each other and act as brothers may be the best testimony of your presence in our lives,

CHANGE US TO BE LIKE YOU, Father.

* So that all the people, including ourselves, who have some social, political or religious authority always act in favour of the common good,

CHANGE US TO BE LIKE YOU, Father.

* So that it may be you who quenches our thirst and we can live attentive to replenish the faith of our brothers,

CHANGE US TO BE LIKE YOU, Father

* So that our catholic Church and all religions may be a stimulus for liberation, justice and fraternity,

CHANGE US TO BE LIKE YOU, Father.

Father, take this prayer of your children and grant us that which we ask of you with so much faith.
