We present to the Lord the joys and sufferings of all humanity so that He may fill them with his presence and with his love, bless them and make them bearable.

* In this first sunday of Advent, we ask you together for our church so that all its members may announce your coming as good news,

* For all our brothers who suffer need, hunger, unemployment, loneliness and difficulties, so that all christians treat them as brothers and sisters,

MAKE OUR HEARTS REJOICE, FATHER.

* We also place on the altar our fears, anxieties and insecurities so that we can rest in the safety of your coming into our lives,

MAKE OUR HEARTS REJOICE, FATHER.

* We bring to the altar all those who have gone astray, lost heart, given up or are depresssed so that between you and us we can help them to enjoy life better,

MAKE OUR HEARTS REJOICE, FATHER. .

* For all those people who don't know you, for those who have loved you but forgotten you and for all those who fail to achieve your birth in their hearts,.

* For those of us here present so that we may be the salt for giving joy to life and light to show the way,
